Nominal 2x4 fabrications the material

This is nominal 2x4 extruded the stock 144 inches long that the buyer can cut to length as desired. It appears to be recycled plastic material marks somewhat proud by nature of its manufacturing process.
I.have used this material to make custom switch 'head'ties ' and
Some special.shallow depth ties, foot planks, and guard beams
for a pair of portable rail Speeder setout track.panels.
Due to the 'solid rectangle' cross section of creatively heavy and
does stay in place well when used with Decomposed Granite ballast.
My local club, LALSRM, has long sections of steel rail paid with this, similar, material ties.
I do recommend theatrical for such uses.
