This is the least common of all wigwags, but one of the most attractive. The pendulum hangs vertically inside a steel frame (hence “Peach Basket”) designed to protect it and support the mechanism housing. The Union Pacific was the largest user of this design. This basket is mounted on a short post. Once again, the unit comes standard with cross-bucks, gong, and maintenance steps. A signal box base is also available.
